Give Thanks

Thanksgiving is a holiday to give thanks to God and the people around us. This is the second year we invited families to share a thanksgiving dinner with us. Last year before Thanksgiving, I was upset that nobody had invited us to dinner. WH said:" Why don't you invite people instead?" Great suggestion! So, I did. I didn't prepare to roast a turkey because I had never cooked one in the past. The night before the holiday, I realized I missed an ingredient for my dessert. I called WH to grab it for me from the supermarket after work. When he walked in the door, he screamed out loud "I got a big turkey for free!" I clapped "Yeah! Perfect! I just invited a 2nd family. We'll have a real turkey for tomorrow!" God had prepared that turkey for us to host! That's how we started sharing thanksgiving meals with others. Take a peek at what we did for Thanksgiving this year:
